How Protection Is Built

Every specification is applied in layers

Protection isn't one coat — it's a system. A typical fire-protection build-up on structural steel moves through four stages, each doing a distinct job before the next is applied.

Blast profile and cleanliness are set to the coating manufacturer's data sheet before any primer is applied.

DFT Control

Dry film thickness is measured coat-by-coat, not just at the end, so the fire rating is built in — not guessed at.

Sign-Off

NACE level inspection closes out the job with documented surface, thickness and holiday-test records.
